Sisi BakBak = Thom Yorke?
What? Well, rumor has it (or rather logical deduction has it) that Thom Yorke has taken up a new nickname, Sisi BakBak. I tried digging for the truth in this, and it wasn’t easy. But the logic behind it seems pretty solid. During its on air preview, it was said by the radio host that the remixer will be playing a certain huge venue soon. Radiohead is due to play that venue in April. Also, other artists have tweeted about repeat listens to “Thom Yorke’s remix of SBTRKT”. So there IS a Thom Yorke SBTRKT remix and so far this is the only candidate. We’ll just have to wait and see I guess. Anyway, the mysterious Sisi BakBak remixed SBTRKT’s Hold On, and here’s the eerie, hypnotizing mix. The accompanying mask footage is fittingly trippy and cool.
